My DIY Projects...or attempts

The design for the wrap around the unity candle. I made this in powerpoint then printed on Vellum paper. I will post a picture of the candle when I have finished it.

Final product. I think they turned out nicely and considering the total spends include the holders, the total spend was less than $20.

Once I figured out how to do this, I got the hang of it. The top bow is not attached yet. Still deciding if I like it.

Ring Bearer Pillow Project

I made the flower out of Taffeta and the fabric is the Damask. The flower is just sitting on the fabric. I have not made the pillow yet. I will feed a ribbon through the flower which is what the rings will be tied to. This was an attempt and decided I wanted a more traditional looking ring bearer pillow. It will either be option 2 or 3.

Memory Charm

As may of you know, I lost my father when I was 17. The one thing I said to my brother after he told the news was that my dad would never be able to walk me down the isle. I have search for a way to remember him on this important day of my life. I decided that my dad will still be walking me down the isle that day. This charm will be tied into my bouquet so he will be there every step of the way.

Something I didn't think I would do...and now I am doing it!

I have ordered a stamp of Etsy.com (love that site) and I am going to make cocktail napkins. For a total cost of $30, I can make all the napkins that one could ever need for the big day. To have napkins ordered already personalized cost $20 for 25 napkins. Once the stamp gets here and I have done a few, I will share the final product.

The Start of the Cake Topper Project

This is the picture that I got from the guy who cut the cake topper for us. It should be here in a few days. The H came pre sanded but I will paint it then bling it out with some crystals. I figure this will be a good long project since you can only glue a small space at a time since E3000 glue dries really fast. I also hope I ordered enough crystals. I will show you pictures along the way.

After almost 350 crystals or whatever you want to call them, I am still not finished. Yes, I hand applied everyone single one of these and sniffed some pretty strong glue over the last two nights. This project is going to be put aside since I need to order more beads. Maybe a guessing game at the wedding should be how many beads are on the cake topper! So I think I will be ordering about 300 more. I am not ordering a 3rd time!

Hault Bracelet

Thanks to another Knottie. Sorry don't know your name but it is from Jon & Jody's website. She had amazing instructions and I would like to attempt this as well. I have ordered the brooch and will be ordering the pearls soon. I am very excited to have another DIY project.
