Overall, the week went so well.  On Sunday, we booked the photographer.  Nicholas Nobert if you want to google him.  So that was Sunday and then I got to see my brother and sister in law (one of the bridesmaids) and my nephews and niece.  We had so much fun.
Monday was no wedding stuff, if I remember correctly.
Tuesday we got to eat cake for breakfast.  I booked the cakes as well.  Carl's cakes are unbelieveable and so exited to have them at our wedding.
Wednesday was busy.  My mom and I looked at three hotels and then she headed back to Florida.  I saw another one after she left. I was rather exhausted by this point in the week.
Thursday, Cheryl met up with me to look at two of the hotels since I could not make a decision.  It was helpful having her help and her opinion.  Then, I got to hang out with my Matron of Honor, Kelly.  We went to a Florist to get an idea of what I wanted and what it costed.  We had a nice quiet lunch with baby Penny and time for us to talk.  Then after a great time with Kelly, I met up with Mont Senior Gunn.  He will be officiating our wedding.  We had a nice talk and went through all of my questions.  After that meeting, I meet up with the DJ.  I signed that contract since they seem to be so easy to work with and so professional.  Juke Box Bandstand is our DJ. Thursday night was a fun night of dinner out with the girls.  Fun stories and lots of laughs made for a wonderful time.
Friday was no wedding stuff.  I went up to see my Grandma Kolb.  She is up in LaCrosse.  I showed her pictures of me in the dress and told her that I would be wearing the pearls that she gave me as my graduation gift on my wedding day.  It almost made her cry.  I pray that she is that there for my wedding.  She is the only living grandparent that Joel and I have.  After my great time with my grandma, I headed down to Okee to have dinner with my future in laws, Fred and Cheryl.  It was so much fun talking with them.  I could not be luckier to have such great future in laws.
Saturday, no wedding stuff.  Had lunch with my brother Steve and sister in law Linda, and Alex and Travis.  It was great to see them.  Then it was time for a very important event.  My God-Daughter got baptized.  It was such a special moment to be part of.  It was so nice spending time with everyone after the mass.
Sunday, goodbye Wisconsin, Hello Arkansas.

What a week it was of planning.  I flew up to Chicago a week ago Friday and meet up with one of the Bridesmaid, Dawn.  My mom flew in and my future mother in law came in town as well.  We had a great dinner out and prepared for the big day ahead of shopping.
Saturday my mom and I met up with Dawn and Cheryl at House of Brides.  Dawn was our official model for trying on bridesmaid dresses.  I think she had about 12 dresses to try on.  She did the test run and then I then I tried on the dress so that way we could make sure the dress would look good on all the girls.  We narrowed it down to one dress at House of Brides.  Everyone agreed upon the dress looking the best.  After all the dress looking and trying on it was time for a good lunch.  Cheesecake Factory called out names!
Priscilla of Boston was our next stop.  This was my favorite part of the day.  I got to put my wedding dress on with the veil, jewelry and all and show my mom and future mother in law and Dawn.  Everyone cried when they saw me in the dress.  It was so neat to have that reaction from everyone.  It makes me even more excited for the big day.
After the tears, it was time for bridesmaid dresses.  They had a size for both myself and Dawn so we could see how it would fit on different sized bodies.  The mothers liked the gray and us two liked the soft black. The final decision came to the soft black and brooches will be added so tie in the light blue color.
After we were done with dress shopping, it was time for the mothers to do a little dress shopping as well.  We hit Lord N Taylor and Macy's but did not find anything that was just right.  But it was sure fun.
Good bye Chicago...onto Wisconsin
